For me the improvements for which i moved from IPhone 3SG to 4S are: front camera so I can video chat using skype and vtok, quality of image therefore better pictures and movies, speed, battery life (exeption below) , volume of applications available.

very intuitive to use, easy to setup wi-fi, cloud storage is a great feature to sync info to allow access on desktop/laptop connected to the internet, Itunes sync is easy, very fast to switch between applications and very easy to use social media sites.

Quality and clarityf the screen is a huge Plus point, full 1080p HD. So easy to use and having iCloud so that there's no longer a need to sync with computer makes life easier. Siri is very handy too!

Easy to use. Dont have to'log onto computer to do updates as the phone automatically does the updates. Overall is a good phone with some good features. Siri is very good. No more typing.

As a previous blackberry owner i was reluctant to switch over but now wish i had done it sooner, the ease of use of this phone is incredible, the phone thinks on a common sense level for example i was sent an email about a holiday it placed all the information into my diary on one click, Sirius is amazing and produces texts word perfect from your voice.

This phone is awesome, it really does do what it says on the box,it's my first iPhone, I am an android convert. The battery life is no different to any other smartphone used to full capacity, what's the point in having the features if you don't use them.Just to give you an idea of what I'm basing my opinion on, My last phone was the Htc Wildfire S,
and previous to that was the Htc g1 also known as the Hero I believe.
This is just like carrying a mini pc around with you, with the added benefit of being a phone... I can't recommend enough!!

Battery life IS better than previous models, Siri makes it possible to use the phone while driving (the phone stays in your pocket and is controlled from a head set), I haven't noticed much speed difference in basic functions but as I don't have any games installed I can't realy test propperly, oh and I love the new charger

Nice design, feels reasonably sturdy in the hand. As with all apple products its pretty intuitive, swiping through the menus and multi tasking is easy.
