The phone looks great and will definitely be replacing my iPhone once my contract expires. The English for a journalistic article however leaves much to be desired, after all since when has "much beterer" been a phrase.

Got white version for quite a while, faster than even 1.4Ghz phones and many new ones, GS2 is still the reigning champion :)

Worst phone I've owned so far. Battery issues left me replacing my phone twice before my thirty days were up. Twice.

Coming from an iPhone 3GS it was either this or the iPhone 4S and after looking at both extensively online and then in-store, I picked up this phone, and I love it!
Battery: I find that it lasts super long between 100%-75%, normal between 75%-25% but short between 25%-0%, either way the battery life is good and gets me through the entire day especially considering it is a 4G phone. Probably my only concern with this phone and I recommend turning off the Wi-Fi when not in use.
Display: The display is amazing, even on the lowest brightness the Super AMOLED Plus screen wows everyone, and looks almost futuristic with some of the Live Wallpapers out there, plus the phone fits easily in my pocket and just barely in my shirt pocket.
Design: The design also very nice, and the metal on the sides on the phone are pretty much slip-resistant if I do say so myself, menu button for options, home button for home and to switch apps/ access task manager, back button and search makes an awesome convenient combo
Ease of use: At first I was a confused, everything was scattered and all over the place, but its so easy to customize that in maybe an hour or two, everything was in a convenient spot and you can change the size on most of the widgets too! Plus it's also very fast to access the market and just download anything you need, trust me.
Features: I don't know what to say, the phone does everything and has 4G, wi-fi sync, voice search for everything, 8MP camera 2MP front facing camera, customizable widgets, TRUE multi-tasking and super customization, and the Turn by Turn Navigation actually works well. What I mean is if it tell you turn right and you go straight, not even 2 seconds after it has your route recalculated. You can also make shortcuts for contacts on your home screen, so that when you press on them you can direct call or direct message them.

Battery 2.5 days...! WTF! Not a chance.......I get through 3 batteries a day and although I'm a heavy user I can't see how even the most moderate user could possibly manage a full day on one charge let alone over 2! Unless everything is turned off and you don't receive any messages, calls our mail, but then whats the point in having a phone. A major plus for my gs2 is the ability to swap battery, unlike iPhone and the quick boot, unlike my blackberry. Only complaint is its a bit big....if the seen size was the same and they trimmed all the edge of it would be perfect!

I am actually very impressed with the Samsung Galaxy S2, I love the Super AMOLED plus display. I really thought the display on the S1 was perfect, but the S2 has a huge improvement. I am very happy to see that the Galaxy S2 comes with a dual core processor and has 4G speeds. I cannot wait to use the S2 with the Sling adapter that I received while working at DISH. I am a little surprise that there aren’t more Android users that have a Sling adapter. Now that I have one, I can steam live and recorded TV to all my Android devices everywhere I have 3G coverage or Wi-Fi. It’s really cool, because now I can catch up on all the movies that I have saved on my DVR that I never have time to watch

The reasons I went to a Galaxy S, and now a Galaxy S2, are 1) I was bored looking over the fence Apple have built around their own little world. 2) I was annoyed by the bloated, nasty piece of shoppingware – iTunes. Any self respecting tech marketing company should be thoroughly ashamed of it. And 3) a smartphone with an average graphics processor and 3.5″ screen is woefully inadequate in this videomediacentric age. So I’ll consume the SGS2 for a while, and then sample the Galaxy Note. Of course, if, sometime in the future, Apple can address the three issues listed above, I’ll happily consider buying an Apple phone. But then, Apple wouldn’t be Apple anymore, would it?

I have had the S2 for 4 days and charged it twice, I also have used quite a few apps and been playing NOVA and Shrek Cart, using the sat nav etc. After a few glitches due to this being my first venture into Android and a few connectivity issues I am impressed with the thing. Only downside to me is the lack of heavy metalic serious man toy feel that the iPhone and HTC have, an aesthetic which matters to some. The apps are a bit buggy, Kies gives up on the connection sometimes but in thes days of disposability with cheaply mass produced electronics I think it goes with the territory. You can always "root" out what you dont like anyways. I like it. Oh another downer for me is I don't like the lack of editability and control over the standard built-in messaging.

I own both this phone (The Galaxy S II) and the Galaxy Tab 10.1 ... I love theses devices ! I am a technology professional and always research the latest, greatest, and best available. Both this phone and their tablet are at the front of the pack, beating out everyone in specs, design, and performance. They work together flawlessly, allowing me to do all I need, in any setting! I have always been a fan of your TV products, but I will admit that I had been a strong advocate for the "main competitor" when it came to mobile devices. Recently, however, I have seen Android and Samsung leap FAR ahead in ability, design, and overall direction for the future. This company will be the winner for a long time to come. I am sold! Great job Samsung !!

I think this phone is better than the iPhone. I love it so much. Lastnight I transferred all my music from my iPod to my Galaxy S 2 so I don't need my iPod anymore. I had trouble with getting my music organized, but I fixed it with the app MediaFix and used the app iTag to rename songs that said unknown artist for some reason. It also fixed the problem of having double albums and split up tracks. I also used the app Cover Art Downloader and now all my albums have cover art. All of these apps were free and saved my life after spending hours transferring all my music and having a lot of songs get messed up and disorganized. Nice review by the way. Very useful

I absolutely love this phone! It has so many features that I have never had before. This one is my first smart phone. My husband has the iphone 4 and I was not happy with how heavy it felt and how it seems to feel too small to actually enjoy any video clips or even web browsing. I like that Samsung actually made the screen large but, not bulky like my Ipad 2. Don’t get me wrong, the Ipad 2 is wonderful because I can move it around the house and my children can watch Netflix on it and I love that all our books are so easily accessible. Yet, I can’t really take it with me to a doctor’s office without worrying about it being stolen or dropped. This phone can do all the same things I do using my Ipad2 but, I can tuck it away in my purse. I am not a tech geek like many of you are, yet, I do search for practical devices that make my life more comfortable. That is why this one is my first smart phone. The others I have seen in the past really didn’t seem worth the money. The technology is still very new. I was reluctant to even get this phone. I had a LG remarq and I will tell you, it was really annoying. It could not load a webpage faster than 3 minutes and then, good luck trying to navigate. I could not put neat little applications on it and I could barely text anything on it because the keypad is so small. My epic is still a little hard to type on but not nearly as difficult. For people with Carpal tunnel like myself, I suggest asking for better voice to text technology. It doesn’t work well on this phone. I haven’t seen anyone’s work well though. Overall, I show off this phone! It is great and I will have it for 2 years until I get a rebate for my next Samsung phone. hehe
